So here are some of the Project management tools that I have been using for Owls Nest Capitals home renovation/flipping projects and some of my thoughts.
The software offers better functionality than many of the Agile paid tools that are out there. The tool comes complete with backlogs, sprints, Kanban boards, and QA, along with the ability to import from Trello, Jira, and Github. Best of all public projects will cost you nothing.
Trello seems like a simple program but it is very powerful. I find it has everything for effective project management. Between moving cards between lists, showing progress, uploaded files (Google Drive, DropBox) adding comments, feedback, and receiving notifications make this software one of my favorite free applications for project management.
This simple web-based tool is basically a simulation of an Agile sprint board. It allows your team to collaborate in real-time and with distributed teams it comes in handy when you’re not walking around with your sprint board. Phone or tablet it works like a charm easy to manage and create.
